A fraternity brother of mine did this and lives out of his van. It looks like a pretty sick build and he's always posting pics parked by the ocean. As long as you can pay for health insurance and chit it looks like fun.

I’ll be working but it’s pretty common for people to save up a **** load of money and do it off savings.

The only issue is being the union , whatever state I decide to do my apprenticeship in has to be my homestate until I finish and can travel as a journeyman. If I worked non union it’s come and go as you please but the union has their own training center in every jurisdiction that practically owns you as an apprentice so you’re kinda tied down.

I can’t keep requesting transfers while as an apprentice , it’s hard and you’re lucky if you can even do it once.

Just get a truck camper. No need to sell and buy another vehicle or two. Buddies dad has a truck bed set up on his F250 and him and his wife go camping all over national parks/parking lots/ wherever they want. He said it's pretty comfy too plus he doesn't have to worry about towing something behind. Just get a cell signal booster because you are gonna need to keep misc'n on the rd. Also get the Missing 411 books so you can read up on where to go to dissappear.
