I worked my way almost to my max bench since rotator cuff surgery

Now i want to lose weight but keep my max is half pound a week a good rate for this goal?
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

I think you can even go higher but it still depends on how your body reacts to restricting calories.. I get really lethargic whenever I cut down on cards because im used to going over my maintenance which makes me lift a bit less.
