One main reason I'm right/conservative is because when I was in need, none of these so called safety nets were available for me, so I just had to make it for myself. I'll never forget selling my Mustang I had so that my GF and I could eat. Litterally sold the car for almost half it's value because we were hungry and I wasn't about to beg friends for food. I got laid off / fired and couldn't wait for unemployment so I took some BS job at a moving company where I was the only one without a felony on my record and did hard manual labor for a few months until I found better. Even that better job sucked. In my career I took positions nobody wanted and went through crap I shouldn't have had to go through but it made me stronger and I see these flakes that haven't ever sacrificed or put forth an effort in anything and I have no sympathy.
As they say, hard times create hard men. Most conservatives are people who had to deal with some chit, had to live life, experience reality. It's why they don't fall for ideals and dogma, why they are opposed to authoritarianism.

Your typical leftist is the type of person who has always lived life on easy mode, authority figures and social programs were always looking out for them, helping them every step of the way, never having to face any real struggles or opposition. They are the participation trophy people, who had people telling them they were special their entire lives, who grow up with this narcissistic sense of superiority as a result. It's why these people live on social media and are constantly trying to revolve around their big circle jerk platforms. It's also why leftism is so much more popular among the young adult audience, while the older people get the more conservative they generally become.

Living in the real world turns people conservative, living in a fantasy land is how people turn leftist.

Someone brought it up in this thread and it’s also very true with my family, the extremely successful ones are very conservative and the biggest BLM supporters who orange man bad all the time are giant fuk ups.

What’s even better is the conservative ones started from literally nothing while the libs were born into money.

I’ve read that manifesto and I’m now on my way to being a psychologist. And I’ve learned nobody is perfect. There’s always gonna be problems. Probably shouldn’t rage out and bomb people cause your upset people don’t go camping so much anymore.

Extremely smart people tend to thing being smart is the end all beat all. And it’s not.

You’ll often see people educated beyond their intelligence.
