They blame their unhappiness on traditional society and so instead of taking control of their own fate they lash out at the institutions and norms around them (perhaps their inability to internalize the ownership of their own emotional state is correlated to their hatred of the society around them, but I don't claim to understand the mind of the libtard). Thus "tradition" and "normalcy" becomes the enemy while "progress" and "change" becomes the behicle by which they believe they are able to achieve their LARP goal of an idealistic utopia.

They never become any happier though, despite any amount of progress, so where ever society finds itself at this very moment needs to be torn down completely and rebuilt in their latest conception of "ideal," which is based on some theoretical understanding of a society where the nature of man and the facts of reality do not apply.

Most of my close friends are liberals, they're not miserable. Many, maybe even most, are not as toxic as they come off online.

I think they skew that way, particularly online, as liberals are more into social media than the right and social media as a whole is cancerous.

More, the left tends to be about 'change' so they do come off more as the ones pushing on things, often to score magical virtue signal points online, trying to outdo each other and often ending up in ludicrous places because of this. The left is overall younger and less wise, young people gravitate towards those ideals more and often the outspoken ones are these less wise ones doing the most yelling.

The left has recently been coopted by fairly toxic ideology, CRT, #BLM and such. Hard not to be negative when you're talking about white people all being racist evil bigots, something many on the left kind of go along with (as often is their nature) rather than push back on as they should like Bill Maher.

TDS drove a lot of them to more extreme positions. The constant propaganda, which I think they're overall more susceptible to (although, not to discount the right on that, see Fox News) but the 24/7 hateful propaganda pushed many over the edge.

And, like some are saying - there are those in the left who are biter failures and just want an excuse to make others miserable. Some but nowhere near all.

Haha that's a funny picture you're painting there. Thinking to the people I know on the left or right ends of the spectrum the people most miserable are those are the far end of both sides. Well said. I've had some liberal friends as well. Some honestly want a better society. I can't hate them for that. The woke left don't really qualify as liberals as they just dont like society because it doesn't cater to them so they want to manipulate it to their liking. Such as LGBTQWERTT want to be some type of honary citizens where you upset them you will be arrested. BLM and CRT isiods that want the police to only be used to arrest whites for not handing over the keys when young antwan tries to carjack them. Commies wanting more free services for themselves.

Big difference in conservatives and liberals is that liberals believe that if we had a perfect system everyone would be good so if someone is flawed it's the system that is flawed. Conservatives believe in individual responsiblity so that if an idividual is flawed it's because that individual is flawed and they don't want a system interfering in their desire to promote their individuality.

I think it's cause they don't have any real talents or any past accomplishments to feel proud of--so their whole life purpose is politics which requires minimal effort (that's what it seems like to me
). Even if they won multiple non-rigged elections in a row they'd be miserable.

They can't make anything happen for themselves so they want the government, the system to make it happen for them.

One main reason I'm right/conservative is because when I was in need, none of these so called safety nets were available for me, so I just had to make it for myself. I'll never forget selling my Mustang I had so that my GF and I could eat. Litterally sold the car for almost half it's value because we were hungry and I wasn't about to beg friends for food. I got laid off / fired and couldn't wait for unemployment so I took some BS job at a moving company where I was the only one without a felony on my record and did hard manual labor for a few months until I found better. Even that better job sucked. In my career I took positions nobody wanted and went through crap I shouldn't have had to go through but it made me stronger and I see these flakes that haven't ever sacrificed or put forth an effort in anything and I have no sympathy.
