Cuomo was awful but she's going to be just as bad or maybe worse.

Her first action yesterday was bringing back the mask mandate for schools, and I fully expect a statewide indoor mask mandate shortly as well.

F'd up to exclude those from the first part, likely majority of those 12,000. Excluding people without a positive test is reasonable since symptoms are like other illnesses.

Every Governor of NY will be awful because voters of the state are retarded and keep voting for the same party no mater what. Then they complain about how the high cost of living makes the state unlivable without putting 2 and 2 together. There isn't even a viable alternative in NY to keep the libs honest. Republicans run joke candidates with no funding because its a waste of time and money. You might get like a State Senator of county representative that is conservative, but anything statewide has no hope.

Basically this. There is a big Republican base on Long Island and upstate as well, but it's near impossible to out-vote NYC

Zeldin running could be a little interesting since he can fundraise (every GOP candidate for gov since Pitaki couldn't fundraise for chit and no one knew who they were) but I can't see him breaking 45% of the vote.
