WA State mandating masks again starting tomorrow...

One of my counties is imposing a $1k fine for those caught without a mask, but I don't know how it is in other counties (Portland is the only real blue one in the area).

Who will write the fine?

You really think a Walgreens cashier is going to care? About to hit the gym, unfortunately it's in Cook County, I'll see what happens.

This past year has proven the plandemic provided the perfect opportunity for weak losers to attempt and assert themselves. That cashier at walgreen will almost certainly say something. You think a low value loser like that is gonna pass up the chance to feel powerful and in control? Not likely.

We have a new “mandate” here too (fuk Cooper), but most businesses aren’t requiring them, with the exception of a select few (Harris Teeter, Wegmans). Won’t be shopping at either of those anytime soon.

The rest (even Walmart?!?!) have signs stating that “we recommend/request that you wear a mask”.

Business are tired of circling the drain.

Wegmans? Sad. I was thinking of making a trip to Raleigh just to go to Wegmans. I guess not now then...

I have been to the Wegmas in Raleigh a couple times since the county put the mask mandate back in place and have not worn my mask once.

A lot of people do not wear their mask inside (probably a 50/50 split of masked vs unmasked) and no one has said a thing....

This goes to a bunch of places in Wake County....no one seems to care and no place is enforcing it

I've been there a couple of times since they opened. I'm originally from WNY, so I love me some Wegmans lol. I'm taking some PTO in a couple of weeks, so might make the 3+ hour drive to pick up some things that I can't get here.

if enough people just ignore these stupid mandates, it will go back. the people have the power.

Well, so far the majority of the places I've been, people have been ignoring the mask mandate, and employees could care less as well.

Heard it's different on the north side of Chicago, but.......it's the north side of Chicago.

Bellevue , Kirkland and issaquah are completely different planets than seattle in my experience

This, I love outside of King county and goto gym, Walmart and other stores with no issue
