Looking for a new PC case

anyone know of pc case that actually looks like its a gaming pc? Im tired of these lame black boxes with three 3rgb fans in the front that make your pc look like ******* pride parade.

Coolermaster H500 and H500P has been my favorite gaming case for a couple years now.
It looks great (IMO), has tons of airflow, and fantastic to build in as far as space and cable management.

Although it's cliché, the lian li O11 dynamic XL might be what you like (maybe the regular O11 dynamic as well).
No front fans, just bottom top and back. This is mine

came to post this. either the XL or non XL depends how much space you have.

the one shown there is the O11 Dynamic, the XL would be a bit wider to allow a 10th fan in the back where on his you just see vents.

on the other hand, unless you're overclocking or running tons of high-end hardware in the box, a mitx or matx is probably more than enough.

I have a huge heatsink/cooler on the CPU and didn't want the mobo to be vertical. Couldn't use the top fan because cpu cooler would be in the way.

That thing is a beast, love it. I have it's little brother. I really like it and if OP doesn't want RGB you simply turn the lights off like I have on mine. I really like the swing out doors, thumb screws get old after a while.

3 years later I would still choose my case:
Get the solid siding, not glass to avoid RGB:

The box should include a mesh top that you can swap out for the indent you see in the picture. This way you can attach a fan there like I did. With all SSD's this thing is really quiet.

The power light is blue, there is no hard drive light.

Fractal is a solid choice, have had the R5 for like 6 years now, pretty close to a perfect case IMO
Easily accessible dust filters, inbuilt fan controller, sound dampening, awesome cable management and a nice minimalist design without any bull****

i'm more into the anti-rgb build

i think all the colors and chit is a distraction. I used to have led light strips, cpu fan with multi colors via software, etc.. I have all of it turned off now and its just a black build inside. Much more beautiful. Maybe a dim white light would highlight its beauty.

I used to be "anti rgb" then I built a full RGB build in a Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 and fuark its beautiful. The colors are fully customizable so if you dont want a christmas tree you can go static on virtually any color combo. Can always turn the lights off too if your feeling it.

H500 is GOAT.

Just keep in mind if you want to add another 200mm fan to the top, it needs to be the coolermaster ones. Noctua's are too thick.

This. My 3080 that I installed 2 days ago out of the box was at a gay parade. Just because you have a bunch of lights/ fans with lights it doesn't mean that you need to use them. My case has 3 rgb fans in the front and if they're ever lit up they're a static color, which is white, which while racist af also allows me to look inside of the case if I'm tinkering with something.

mine is similar to this, plain black case by corsair. no windows. i dont like all that lighting chit, not my thing


none of my fans have lighting but between the motherboard and the graphics card, some light leaks out the vent holes. its lame

Naw man, mine is the XL as well . I have a P360 rad in the bottom that's why the fans are so high up.
I didn't need an extra fan in the back, it didn't fit with the tubing either. Hell of a good case!

I did the whole rgb thing on my case, but after like 6 months i realized its nothing but a distraction since it sits at an elevated near desk level by the monitor. i guess i grew out of it, much prefer a soft white light instead of a skittles/lucky charms commercial in my case.

yea i see it now, i just didnt see the back fan so defaulted to non XL.
