Cold Pizza breakfast... an unsung hero?

I feel like in college I did this at least once every week or two.


Looking back, I honestly think i'd still enjoy the hell out of it... but I swear it's been like 5 years since i've even done it.


I don't even know why, maybe I just finish all the pizza at dinner, but i'm almost tempted to just get two pizzas and save one for the next day to have cold.


How do you feel about cold pizza? Whens the last time you had it?

I love cold pizza but haven't had it in years since I never leave leftovers as far as pizza is concerned. The only time I eat it these days if I see it in someone else's fridge and kindly ask if they'd like it removed.

When my daughter was little and had sleepovers we'd get Pizza and I'd be up early the next morning hoping there was some in the fridge, nice and cold....

Aldi take and bake pizzas are restaurant tier and still cheap. One 16" pizza is like $6 and I always have leftovers. Plus, the dough tastes vaguely like pretzels.

Most evenings I throw my leftovers in a toaster over. I may eat it the next morning at room temp, or heat it back up. Cold fried chicken is pretty good.

It is literally just a giant tomato and cheese cake atop a gentle thick buttery crust, so the consistency doesn’t suffer one bit.

In the UK we have a place called Scotland. It's an odd place, men wear skirts, the beverage of choice is an alcoholic drink called buckfast, it tastes like cough syrup.

Heroin and spice are practically staples to their diet and the greeting of choice is to headbutt you.

But as odd as the funny talking, ultra violent, domestically abusive drunks are. They do possess great talent for making filthy food filthier.

They take their cold pizza and they batter it and frankly, it's ****ing god tier.

have had a pretty good buffalo wing pizza before. ironically for cold pizza, the crappier it is the better it is cold. junk chains like Pizza Hut and Dominos work well cold as the substance they use in place of cheese solidifies into an edible plastic. if you use real, good quality pizza it just tastes better heated up, but still ok cold.

I swear I have built the ultimate pizza from Panago, as some pizzas suck when their cold I find , but this combo I created is awesome .
I order a pepperoni and mushroom , add extra cheese , salami , capicola , red onion and black olives.

I want to email corporate and ask them if they’ll just make this a standard pic on their menu .

i think you are on to something. i think its the grease content that coagulates into a chewy fatness mouthfeel that tastes good in the morning. the extra cheese, salami, and capicola probably bump up the grease % quite a bit over stock.

Speaking of Pizza Hut, in Japan they just released the decathlon pizza. 10 meats: beef bulgogi, bacon, aged bacon, Iberico thick-sliced bacon, pepperoni, pulled pork, “rough sliced” sausage, Italian sausage, teriyaki chicken, and charcoal-grilled beef ribs. Haven’t had Pizza Hut in years, but I’d try that if they imported it here.

For me to eat cold pizza for breakfast implies that there's any pizza leftover from the night before.
