    Hi!

    I am new. I am 166cm tall ( 5'5 ) weight 55kg (121). I would like to get into shape. Well toned and lean. I know that cardio is the most important of all.I plan to do 4 times cardio 45mins per week and 3 times strength training per week. What do you think? Any tips and adivce is welcome. Thank you

    Welcome to the board. Cardio is important, but don't neglect weight training which will help you to build lean muscle mass to give you a "toned" look and will also help you to burn more calories during the day. If you are just getting started you can pick up some great info on the article portion of this website.

    here's a little tip. Don' t overdo the cardio don' t push the tempo in order to burn fat you only have to increase your pulserate a little so don' t start running on the tradmill like a maniac

    If you're 5'5" and 121 lbs, Weight training would be the key for you to get "toned".
