I know I read an article, or saw a book about the subject.
Does anybody know anything about this? I searched everywhere I could think of (these forums, sherdog's, yahoo, google) and haven't found anything.
Basically, you start with it lying on the ground, and pick it up in various positions (i.e. over your shoulder, cradle in arms, etc.) It's supposed to help with explosive power for lifting/slamming an opponent.
REPS for any help.

We used to do that. Its alright. Its really like doing power cleans and deadlifts. Its a pretty good form of GPP. A lot of guys do it with sandbags. If youre looking for an exact set up for your workout, youd have to make it your own depending on your workout, recovery, etc.

"225, 315, 405 whatever. Yeah these benchmark digits come to mean a lot to us, the few warriors in this arena. They are, however, just numbers. I'm guilty of that sh*t too, waiting for somebody to powder my nuts cuz I did 20 reps of whatever the **** on the bench. Big f*king deal. It is all relative." G Diesel
