Well brahs this is my current situation srs, I’ve been unemployed and underemployed since I graduated last year, getting very depressed now with my situation.
I’ve applied at dominos pizza cuz atleast some income is better than no income.
I did some work in warehouses and minimum wage jobs since I graduated but I’m still in this depressing situation.

How often are you applying to jobs should be treating it as a job and applying 8 hrs a day.

Ring up firms you would like to work for and ask if you can do unpaid work experience deadly srs.
Come in a couple of days a week etc or work there for a few weeks.
Like I said unpaid but you need any experience you can get in the field and this is the way to do it. Shows employers you are motivated.

I am a dr, but I don’t have a pad I still have cvs trying tj? Entrap me? For looking into the 3:09 30 crimes fiasco China and the mob?
I’d been given my numbers with zero instructions tj try tj do damage control? Yet they don’t like it, so all they really have done is harass me...
Guess I have a resolution tj that today Idk it’s just every doctor I’ve gone tj see over the past 5 years had either tried tj sexually assault me, make me fat, be connected tj street drug dealers? Or? Be under the influence of bill gates or Google?
Idk hasn’t gone well for me... the dea doesn’t like accountability though? So it’s like? Not something they’d looked into.
Hopefully given the circumstances the New York Fbi will have had that resolved for meLast edited by pantiespending; 06-24-2021 at 04:12 AM. Reason: Somehow I feel like these things are all connected via conspiracy statutes and rico... not to mention. Interest tj Dod

So far I had gotten about 5 interviews the past year; but I didn’t succeed any of them.
My cousins were saying to do a course in IT or data science and I can get a job that way.
However how is it possible I can’t find a job with a degree but would find a job with just a cert??Ever tried, ever failed..

All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Lol'd @ Domino's pizza with an engineering degree
If you went a year without a job that's entirely your fault
Haven't gone more than 2 weeks without work in my life
You're probably sitting at home shilling a bad resume into an online pile of thousands for jobs you either under qualify or over qualify for like Domino's
If you wanted a job you'd be handing your resume over in person like the rest of us*Tolerance is the lube that slides the dildo of dysfunction into the ass of civilized society*

Join the military, even if you don’t make a career out of it you get valuable experience and VA home loan benefits. While others are struggling to scramble their Starbucks change to buy a home, you’ll be flexin’ on the rest of your peers with your VA benefits (semi-srs).
On a more serious note, I’m in the army reserves and I love it. You could try to become an engineer officer which is what I’m doing now. Although as an officer you’ll be doing very little engineering and more administrative.

Handing over my resume in person?
So what just walk into an engineering company and give my CV in person to the receptionist?
You are probably right about the bad CV, I’ll need to fix it up more but not sure what more I can put onto it, when my work experience is basically warehouse and retail etc.
I don’t have an internship or engineering experience (mechanical)Ever tried, ever failed..
No Matter fail again... fail better.

Do you network? Seems like Engineering is one of those fields where its all about who you know. I was in the same situation as you having done a masters degree on top of a bachelors to become a clinical Dietitian and was still working as a labourer a year later and getting pretty depressed; applying for jobs everyday, sitting interviews and getting nowhere. Eventually got myself a mentor who got me a foot in the door as a casual at a hospital he worked at for a couple of days a week, worked there for a year and got another full time job through word of mouth at another site. Did not have to interview for either of them. Networking is far more valuable in certain fields than applying for jobs relentlessly

The thing you also have to keep in mind is that there has been a pandemic where businesses have been closing and not hiring, people being laid off and not as much jobs going. Whilst yes with your engineering degree you will be fine and will get work but you can't compare the past year to regular times.

Something to consider, it will suck ass but will help propel you forward if you do things right. The Navy would be especially good and have some serious options if you're willing to Commission and pursue something Engineering related (which again would suck, but you would get a lot of valuable experience).
At any rate, yeah it can be brutal out there and some people are very out of touch with how phucked the job market can be. Especially getting the initial experience. Brb "entry level...3-5 years experience required". Everyone wants experience, but no one wants to give it. As I've mentioned before, I finished a Masters in Accounting post Navy and it still took me almost two years of working shyt jobs or being unemployed before I finally landed something good.
