Am close friends with some asian second gen brahs and know their families.
Just because their family structure is conservative doesn’t mean their politics have any relation. Especially the parents.
Some want immigration policies that allow them to bring family over.
Many of the parents just vote for whatever party was in power when they immigrated and otherwise don’t follow politics.
Some just vote for whoever is anti-China because they hate China.Last edited by 4free; 05-19-2021 at 05:35 AM.

I don't know either. I think people mistake them for "conservative" because they tend to be a group that doesn't whine/complain about their living situation and work hard in order to provide for their family.
If we are talking about Asian people straight from China at least. They are more collectivist and compliant to the government/media. They may not necessarily be down for the woke chit but this is the antithesis of a conservative who believes more in individualism and freedom of choice/expression. If we are talking about american conservatives, Asians are less likely to own guns as well or care about gun rights/laws.
I think if you are talking about Asian people, you are probably going to have to be more specific. For example South Koreans are more likely to align with conservative values than Chinese.positivity brah crew
