How the fuk do you think your ancestors survived long periods without food brah? The human body is made to fast.
Darwin called it:
Thus, from the war of nature, from famine and death, the most exalted object which we are capable of conceiving, namely, the production of the higher animals, directly follows.

Who coined the "LOL if you do/don't XYZ" nonsense? Would love to sock them in the nose.
Imo, OMAD is fine. I don't do it, heartburn issues. On non-training days I'll eat twice a day or fast entirely. Training days I tend to graze Breakfast to dinner, maybe every couple hours a bite here and there. All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Not optimal at all. That chit absolutely DESTROYS your metabolism. I tried it for a while, didn't really lose any weight because my body just adapted by lowering metabolism. Got fed up of feeling miserable all the time and I added a second meal. It's been a month and I haven't gained a pound if fat, in fact I'm losing more now as I have more energy for training and I'm more active during the day

Different diets work for different people. I do OMAD and it works excellent for me. For others IF or 5 small meals might work better. I will say it is infinitely easier to manage calories on OMAD. I can maintain 195lbs (my avi weight) eating whatever the hell I want until I'm full. I'm cutting right now so I had to cut out ice cream and desserts and work a little more on portion control but I still eat until I'm full

I've been doing OMAD for a while and am thinking of stopping. The problem is it needs to be a really big meal cause I'm so hungry from not eating since the previous day, and then I feel bloated and lethargic for the rest of the day. I also have to make sure I eat no later than about 2pm, cause any later and I'm unable to sleep because I still feel full by 10pm and also keep waking up due to thirst. If eating small, I can eat a small meal right before bed and still sleep good. I'm thinking of trying one medium-sized meal for lunch, and then small healthy snacks spread throughout the rest of the day.

Well we are animals at the end of the day, and we used to starve and hunt like savages for food. We had primal instincts and would go to no end to get food. Now that we have food in plentiful amounts, we engorge ourselves and never need to starve. We've rewired our brains to think food is now for pleasure as opposed to survival. When you used to be fat, it meant you were rich because you could afford food. Now if you're fat you're considered poor and lazy.
Crazy to see how the dynamics of our diet has completely flipped. I've done aggressive IF and even OMAD, and I've noticed once you get over the initial hump of starvation, my mind becomes sharper and I focus more on what I'm doing.*Mechanical Engineering Crew*

"Because the thing about repairing, maintaining, and cleaning is it’s not an adventure. There’s no way to do it so wrong you might die. It’s just work. And the bottom line is, some people are okay going to work, and some people … well, some people would rather die. Each of us gets to choose.”

2 meals a day for about 2 months now.
Meal 1 (~2PM) is just to get protein intake numbers up (non-fat unflavored Greek yogurt + scoop of whey) and meal 2 (~7PM) is a mountain of mixed vegetables and fatty meat.
Losing weight pretty easily and not suffering much.Eat in a deficit to lose weight.
Hit your protein and fat minimums to stay healthy and keep your gainz.
Lift heavy and do HIIT to look and feel awesome.
