Biden to withdraw all troops from Afghanistan by September
WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden will announce Wednesday that the U.S. will fully withdraw its troops from Afghanistan by Sept. 11 of this year, a symbolic deadline marking the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, senior administration officials said Tuesday.
The troop drawdown will begin before May 1, the deadline for complete withdraw as outlined in a deal the Trump administration reached with the Taliban, a senior administration official said. The U.S. says there are roughly 2,500 troops currently serving in Afghanistan.

USA caused more damage to France than Nazi Germany did. They censored a lot of the military rapes on French and Italian civilians in WW2. "Strategic Bombing" wasn't even strategic but pretty much deliberately bombing entire cities into ruins. USA WW2 almost never took prisoners in the Pacific and allegedly it was often the same in the Normandy campaign. Yes a lot of Germans did surrender at the very end but I'm talking about when Germany was still putting up decent effort. Apparently whenever Germans / Axis forces surrendered they always preferred surrendering to the British because surrendering to French, Canadians and Americans (order of likelihood of being murdered) was risky.
But when USA fights brown people: "can't shoot them until they fired the first shot", "bribe the village Chiefs", "ignore our translators / Afghan 'allies' raping little boys", etc.

Right because they made it so easy for Trump to do what he wanted to do...

There is a big difference between getting troops out of AFG and removing out footprint/equipment. Removing our footprint would take years and actually a troop increase.

the deal was to leave by May. Taliban said they would attack if the US reneged. He doesn't want to leave afghanistan, he wants to his sheep to believe that he will leave, while effectively reneging on the deal with the Taliban. The Taliban will pick up attacks and now he uses that to justify staying in Afghan.
