Hey guys, I have been having horrible stomach problems (bloating, gas, diahreah) for a long time. All my tests came back normal, my colonoscopy and endoscopy was normal, h pylori test was normal, so I'm gonna ask my dr to prescribe me some IBS medicine. I was just wondering if anybody has any experience with ibs, what medicine do you take? Does it help with the bloating? That's my main concern.
I appreciate you all so much 😊
Edit: I also had my pancreas enzymes tested, and allergy tested

My GF has been suffering from BAD IBS and GERD for over a year now. She's done all the procedures you have. We've been doing a food journal. I'm going to order her a Thryve gut biome test to see if there is anything else we can find out to alter her diet.

I had a severe case of IBS-D where I had this terrible yellow diarrhea several time a day, constant bloating and burping every 5min, what litteraly save me is intermittent fasting 18-6 (18 hours fasting and 6 eating windows) on a daily basis and a prolonged 72h fasting every 4 month. The 72h fasting helps you full restoring your instestinal mucosal layer and time restricted feeding keep the inflammation low because you give time to your body to heal. Also, you might want to consider a low carb diet, I mostly eat low carbs vegetable and meat (eggs, poultry, beef, fish, cheese). Forget about medication you need to address your diet, I don't have any bloating, no burping and no diarrhea.
Key to a great body : a great diet with enough proteins, lot of sleep, not buying tons of supplements, proper form and dedication
3 Must have supplements : High-quality whey isolate, Multivitamins and Creatine

I got diagnosed with UC about 6 years ago. Lost 40lb in a month chitting blood, puking nonstop, severe abdominal cramps. Did infusions for like a year and now do a once a month self injection (simponi) in leg and have never had a problem since. Read stories like these and I feel lucky, would suck to have to avoid foods/always chitting.

Yeah I do. Especially when I'm mentally stressed out. Stuff just turns to liquid and I feel chit. What helped me was getting some pro-biotics. They take some weeks to do their thing, but it definitely helped me recover faster from IBS and prevent it from happening all over. Also made me able to drink milk and gluten heavy meals.

Fuk man this is almost exactly what happened to me. Started feeling those symptoms dec. 2019, went from 225lbs to 145lbs from March 2020 to June and finally got checked out in august. I’m about to start transfusions within the next month or so. Wouldn’t wish this on anyone.
