I think it may be over me. Yesterday my back went out while I was just sitting at my desk. Had to hobble like an old man out to my truck after work. Woke up this morning and wasn't any better so I took off work and went straight to the orthopedic urgent care. They took x-rays and an MRI and I go see the spine surgeon at 1230 today. I asked them what is wrong with me and the nurse seemed concerned and said she's never seen anything like my x-rays before. Time to LDAR I guess. I was getting so close to the shreds too. Down to 187 and in the morning you could see my ab outline without any flexing. Probably only needed to lose another 5 to 10 lbs

I'm praying right now it's a severe muscle strain or something in my ligaments or tendons. The good news is that I don't have any radiating nerve pain or weakness in my legs so it's doubtful anything is wrong with my spinal cord.

I had sciatica shooting down to my feet.

Just talked to the surgeon. One slightly bulging disc and one completely blown out disc with the biggest osteophyte he's ever seen. He said those aren't the problem though since they were both really old injuries from what he could see on the MRI. He did gather me and about 5 nurses around to look at my x-rays though. Part of one my vertebrae chipped and instead of growing back together grew up and out. Severe muscle strain and the treatment is steroids and rest for a week or two. If it isn't better by then I'm supposed to come back

Took 17k steps yesterday today, already 13,500. Did chest this morning. Fasted all day, hopefully lost more weight.

I have no idea. He just told no no working out for a week or 2. It's only been about 4 hours but I think the steroid shot has helped big time. I can find comfortable ways to sit down and I can almost stand up straight. Hopefully I'll be able to do something like walking in couple days. The bad thing is that the steroids make me really hungry
