I saw this on Sean Nalewanyj's YouTube channel. He was saying that caffeine and l-tyrosine is really all you need and the ingredients that do most of the work. Recommends 200-400mg caffeine and 2-5g l-tyrosine. I know the l-tyrosine is very underdosed in many pre workouts. He says this is much cheaper and you're also getting the right dose. Anyone tried this combo out?

I've actually always been partial to creatine mono in any pre-workout i use.....as I believe it's the most effective at increasing strength and gains, and the most studied. Citrulline and caffeine I like also. Citrulline for the pump, caffeine for the energy.
Everything else doesn't have a lot of research behind is or isn't really proven.

both of those are great
tyrosine works great and so does caffeine
both are research backed
for the tyrosine which i haven't used in a while i used to use 3 grams, i used to copy cat biotests power drive many years ago (don't think they still make it). it was always a great pre workout, well before any of the "pump" formulas came to market around 2006. the tyrosine and a large cup of iron shoe coffee is all i needed for a workout where i wanted maximum concentration.Kid Covid
