Granted OP said 2010 for his start date, but IMO 2011 is pretty OG at this point. That's a decade of miscing breh, even if it was oftem sporadic. You've been around long enough to have seen the twilight of the misc glory years, and certainly been around long enough to have heard all about it.
I've always excluded myself from the OG account discussions, and have always lol'd when miscers with 2013 - 2015 join dates have tried saying they're OG accounts now. I remember some threads of a few of them doing it when their accounts were like 5 - 6 years old, not even close to OG status haha. But once you hit the 10 year mark... I think you hit at least a semi-OG account status. We might not be 2010 or pre-2010 oldcel accounts, but we've still been around. And 10 years is a damn eternity on an internet forum, so many forums I've frequented over the years have long since come and gone. So 2023 for me, if misc is still here.
Also, you're right in that nobody ever truly leaves the misc. Just look at all the older accounts that have popped in when you thought they were gone forever. For example - his exact username escapes me atm, but that guy who called himself the president of the misc baldcels who was so popular back on the day randomly turned up around the end of 2019/start of 2020 and posted again for a few months after saying he was done forever.
There's tons of examples like that around, and those long-timers always at least check in to lurk once in a great while. Even if they quit being regular posters long ago, they had too much skin in the game to forget it forever as long as this place remains somewhat active. I legitimately wish that like 90% of the perm banned oldcel accounts would get unbanned (only ones that were decent posters/legit regulars at one point) to see how many of them randomly returned, because I have no doubt at least a few would, and it could actually liven this place up a bit.
