    Question 6-8 eggs a day too much?

    yo guys,

    i eating about 6-8 whole, hard-boiled eggs a day...

    how concerned should i be about my cholesterol intake?

    BTW i'm 21, on average around 12% BF (15% max) thru out the year, lift hard 4-5 times a week, and have your typical clean BB type diet (living/doing this for 3 years now).

    each egg has about 5 grams of fats (saturated mainly ) so that's a total of 40g for 8 whole eggs. Depending on your c/p/f ratio you may wanna limit your intake of whole eggs and get some unsaturated fats from some other source iinstead .e olive oil, flax oil, fish. The egg whites are fine though as you can eat as many as you want.

    sorry, i should have mentioned that i am keto-cutting right now,
    so i get in around 100-130g of fat a day!

    BTW the eggs i buy/eat have 4.5g of fat total and only 1.5 sat. fat per egg.
    so its only 12g of sat. fat from 8 eggs

    i also eat tons of salmon, and/or supplement with 12-20 fish oil caps a day, so i'm good with the omega-3s...

    but you guys still think 6-8 whole eggs are no good???
    what should concern me the most: the sat. fat or the cholesterol???

    eggs dont have mostly sat fat, in fact, thats the least type of fat in terms of content.
    eggs are very healthy, eat as many as you want, just make it fit in into your daily calorie content.
    for keto? LOL eat as many as you want bro, i eat myself between 8 to 14 eggs a day, dont worry bout it.

    For the record:

    A hard boiled egg DOES have alot of fat. Unless of course you remove the yolk (where all the fat is)

    Hence thats why when you read alot of posts here, people will have like 6-8 egg whites and one whole egg.

    They don't do that out of spit. It's for a reason.

    A large egg, containing 5 grams of fat, only has 2.5 of it as saturated.

    And, it's not as bad as you make it out to be.
