If Iowa State beats OU they deserve to bump Ohio State

Let's look at the facts

-Ohio State has 1 win over a team that's above .500
-Ohio State has only played 5 games
-Iowa St. took a garbage loss at the very beginning of the season to UL. No one cares about that anymore
-Iowa St.'s other loss was a closely contested road game at Ok St.
-Ohio State has no quality road wins; Iowa St. has quality road wins @Texas and @TCU
-Iowa St. obliterated a solid WVU
-Iowa St. will have knocked off OU twice if they win


Face it, the Big 10 cancelled their season away. Not one of them deserves to be handed a playoff spot. I'm not even an OSU hater or an Iowa St. fan but let's be real Iowa St. has earned it far more than Ohio State.

Big 10 wanted to be pussies and delay their start and then cancel games left and right... Now they deserve to be watching the playoffs from the sidelines because of it. Those choices should have consequences instead of just gift wrapping OSU a birth by voting them in.

I agree that the Buckeyes should not be in the playoff but I'm not sure if Iowa is the team to take their spot. A+M and Cincinatti have legit claims, although the committee seem to have slammed the door on Cincy by placing them at #9.

Let’s face it, this is the year a two loss team actually does deserve in. The big 10 did not play enough.

And when you factor out those teams because they basically didn’t play this season you’re left with 3 undefeated teams and no 1 loss teams... meaning the best 2 loss team should get in and that’s Iowa St assuming they knock off OU again like the thread title states (and A&M falls which is likely)

My mom went to OSU and my entire family is from Ohio and are all big Buckeye fans.

I have no reason to hate that team and have often rooted for them (especially over Bama)

I think the Big 12 should be removed from playoff consideration considering they have never won a playoff game. 4 YEARS they give the Big 12's shining gem a shot at the playoff and they are 0-4. I just realized Texas A&M plays Tennessee this weekend, not Alabama. For some reason I thought they hadn't played Bama yet.

Forget the thread title. Texas A&M should be in over both Ohio State and Iowa State.

It goes like this for the 4th spot:
1. A&M
2. Iowa St.
3. Cincy
4. OU

Everyone else is eliminated at this stage IMO. A&M controls their own fate, Iowa St. need a win and a A&M loss, Cincy needs A&M and Iowa St. to lose, OU needs all 3 above them to lose.



I'm effectively eliminating Florida because no one is beating Bama this year. So they're technically not eliminated but they kind of are.
