@lww is still in the grind I see. I went and got the tan for him! Checking back in. Was at the beach for a week. Amazing the progress a little tan will do for you. I missed the mark a bit, but not too terrible.
Just chillin here. Lots of distractions but still making it in. Dont really ever have anything changes. Just gain a bit of fat and lose some. But after being at the beach for a week, I dont feel bad for being 50. I think I ate enough dairy queen to last a lifetime. Like 5 nights in a row w/ blizzards. But that is what is great. Go a little nuts, and pull back in and keep going.

Looking good ID.
Buncha kids in the gym Monday and I let my ego get the better of me, did BB BP 245 x 8 without struggling much. Now my wrists, elbow & shoulder are all sore. All for a few oohs and ahh's and one Holy Chit! Not worth it for a little bit of gym glory.

Being sore is fine with me. It’s the potential disk issues that aren’t worth it to me.
It seems lately every time I push it on Dead’s I get what I know is disk or sciatica issues for a week or longer.
It also aggravates a pinch in my glute area I got years ago when I foolishly was dead lifting heavy too often. And had stopped squatting my dead’s (squatting my dead’s was working well for me when going heavy).
I been going really light lately and doing RDLs instead.
This isnt the type of pain where lifting itself hurts it, it’s when your done, you either can’t sit for or lay down without being super uncomfortable or feels like you got a sprain in the ankle when walking.

Nice work. I understand the aftermath pain that isn't DOMS! I had a decent bench in my day. Now, I really can't even do them (shoulders)
Lookin' good LWW. ID...stud. I'm at my decent weight of 240. 230 would look better if I could keep the muscle. I'm not great in the kitchen.Envy is ignorance. Imitation is suicide.

Can't squat without being able to reach back and hold the BB... but actually, there is one of those weird barbells with the handles in my gym that no one ever uses, could likely use that. But it doesn't fit in the rack I bet.
My concern with shoulder surgery is with scarring. I currently have a great tan, shoulders are full, no gut and arms look great, in a tank top I get looked at wherever I go. Also wanted to put a tattoo on that shoulder this winter.
Sounds vain but this is or was a bodybuilding site at some point.Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

I wouldn't worry too bad about the scarring. I also am pretty vain about my tan and provided you get dark enough each summer--you can really fade out a scar.
I'd honestly be more worried about the effectiveness of the surgery itself (if you go that route). I'm sure you've heard the stories on here from people like BH who went ahead with their shoulder surgeries and regretted it afterwards, right? Maybe your surgery is more of the cut and dry/straight forward variety though. I would think you have multiple things going on in there given all your years under the bar though. That's why a lot of shoulder surgeries don't fix eveverything.

Checking in at 188# BW, at least I was over the weekend.
The waist is where I want it, now need to keep adding mass and keep the waist there.
I have no clue how to pose, nor do I care, I'm into building muscle and body buiding, but I don't care about most bodybuilding related things.

it does not. I used to think like LW, but the more I see great pieces of work walking streets, the more I appreciate it. I still remember one female bodybuilder in a store, just a few seconds left impression forever. Dark tan, great proportions, muscle definition, she must have been ifbb pro. This is a beauty of the world, people are part of it.

No it’s not, I think strides, thin skin oil, tan and striking poses and dancing on a stage is the stupidest thing. Would never even go to watch such a thing no matter how big someone is.
The only bber I ever actually liked is Scott Steiner and he is not even close to what a pro looks like.
The reason why I liked Scott is because he has the true athlete build, Mike Tyson is another.
Pretty looking pecs are silly to me, I like scary muscle.Authentic Knights Swing Heavy Steel and Have Hands and Wrists of Steel!

I liked Billy Graham, the wrestler too.
I’m not talking when did worlds strongest man, he wa too fat there.
He had a massive build with a small waist, I think he may of done a show or two but IDK, I have no interest in seeing him doing that. I’d rather just see wrestling gear on and a double bicep shot.Authentic Knights Swing Heavy Steel and Have Hands and Wrists of Steel!

I think you may be wrong about thinking like me?
I like the freak show dude I don’t care about this Beauty talk though dude.
I saw a chick the other day at the store too, she had a back that was jacked and I was impressed I’m not so sure about the man pecs though but oh well she was a freak, so cool!!!
But it wasn’t beauty, it was freaky and I like that.
I prefer though to be freaky and natural I know many work harder than me, if I had more time I’d train more, so I don’t judge.Authentic Knights Swing Heavy Steel and Have Hands and Wrists of Steel!

You guys know who Rich Piana was?
I don’t like the look that he became, that’s more of a mutant look.
However his early days I liked him.
I don’t agree with the chemical assistance but I totally appreciate his honesty, the dude was straight up on what he was doing.
Also as I discovered that working the same muscles daily works is how I found out Rich figured that out too.
The guy really did train more and harder than most.
He once talked about, “if you believe it will work, you will make that happen” and that’s 100 percent!
He also said that there is no overtraining, there under eating and while maybe he said recovery, well if you looked at his training he wasn’t recovering, he was EATING to TRAIN MORE! The food was fuel period!Authentic Knights Swing Heavy Steel and Have Hands and Wrists of Steel!

Yes sir!
6-7 days a week. A shoulder movement almost daily and a dead lift variation almost daily. Arms/lats/traps/legs inbetween. I'm focused on these shoulders, they are the "key" to filling out the shirt, the rear delts put the "peak" in the lats.
My back feels better than it's been for the last 5years by rotating every angle on a dead lift variation every session almost.
I'm also approaching 200# BW, yes there is fat, but not even close to the pillow belly I had before. All it takes is a couple days of reducing some calories and extra high rep squats and I'm leaner again. I'm shooting for MASS now, not strongman/powerlifting belly mass, but off-season BB'er MASS!Authentic Knights Swing Heavy Steel and Have Hands and Wrists of Steel!
