1- 2 years practice with the best instructor, since I never did this
2- the best available skateboard for this course
3- knee and elbow pads, helmet with face shield, wrist, back, and ankle braces
4- Life and health insurance

not as dangerous as it looks. I’ve fallen down hills doing this. you will slide and lose skin, nothing past that.

you need a downhill board (cut outs to prevent wheel bite), calibrated trucks, and hard bushings to prevent speed wobbles. if you can do basic flat ground tricks you can do this easy. serious

So I have to successfully go 65mph and complete that whole run for 1 billion? Maybe if I was given some time to train and could wear full protective gear (full leather bodysuit + full motorcycle helmet). I definitely would not do what they're doing with no training because it would be die or have extremely painful scrapes/lacerations for no money and not much fun.

I have a very fast carbon fiber road bike and I used to live in Colorado. The streets in the Denver area are extremely steep and several times I got my bike up to 75 downhill and it was extremely scary.

However, if you actually got scared and moved the bike, I'm pretty sure it would be a disaster.

I only did that speed one time and that was enough for me.

I also went mountain biking down Vale Mountain, and that lasted for hours, on a very conservative trail, and was scary as f@ck.

Yup. I'm not a Longboarding pro or anything but Ive reached speeds up to 70km/h . Ive fallen off going downhill and just slid and and tore my long sleeve shirt, jeans and socks (shoes flew off lol). It hurt and I was off for a few days.

Worst fall was when I was starting to push off a skateboard and hit a rock and slammed hard.
