I think it would have to be somebody with pockets as deep as Trump's to fund their own campaign. The system is purposely setup to be so expensive that it's out of reach to all but those who have the financial backing of the elite puppet masters.

Thankfully many Republicans have won recently despite being outspent by their opponents, Tucker's a rich Swanson heir so hopefully with that and the base there's enough to financially support his campaign without selling out i.e Bernie Sanders.
