Democrats take the west coast, and pacific NW, the Republicans take the gulf coast and the Atlantic coast , the Democrats can open the borders in the south and north if they want, the Republicans won't have to worry about it.


All left wing ideas go west of the Mississippi, all right wing ideas go east. Whatever is rooted in the west stays west whatever is rooted in east stays east.

I am all for it. But I would think you would need a middle America for conservatives and the left can have the outer coastal regions on the west coast and the upper Atlantic. The right could control the gulf ports, southern areas like the Carolinas and FL, and some of the Great Lakes which is more than enough for shipping.

Do I think it will happen? Probably not. People are too comfortable and reliant on the govt.

Does it need to happen in order for traditional American values and culture to survive?
