Same. A chunk of my family are THEM and I had the "Slowly, I began to hate them" moment pretty early. They will look in your eyes and tell you sugar is ****e and black is white. They will profess how 'normal' and 'White bread' they are. They will pretend they misunderstand you; that you thought you were speaking abstractly when you were being literal, they will pretend you are speaking singularly when you are speaking in plurality. They will attack Whitey for standing on Native land but all hold dual citizenship (I have the right to citizenship due to my grandad) in a land only some of their ancestors lived in millennia ago - there's a lot of European blood in the ones that spoke a dialect of High German - you know the ones.

It takes a lot for them to feign ignorance because their egos are larger than the Tower of Babel.

There was a WWE wrestler who came out of the closet, and I said that I knew that this guy was a ******* all along . Bozz said I am homophobic for calling him a ******* instead I should have sympathize with him for coming out.

I used to use this in my own notes, along with brackets to indicate less articulate notes and other people's ideas, respectively. far too common a punctuation to use this way.
