Strain, minor tear, or what?
About two weeks ago at work I was moving a large awkward object that weighed about 60-70 lbs, After I put it down I felt a tearing, burning feeling in my lower left Tricep. The pain was horizontal across my arm. Now when I make odd movements (Ex. Scratching my mid back) with me left arm, I feel that same pain. I went to the doctor because it was work related and then he poked it twice and then twisted until I almost cried (Boulders of course) and said it was a strain. But the thing that made me a little more worried is that he said it should be gone within a few days. It's been, like I said, about two weeks.
So I was just wondering if you guys could give me some more info on it.
Thanks.

i think it could be a tear. expecially if u felt a burning sensation. strains using dont come with that. is there any swelling or is the area black and blue?

As a medical student, I'll say micro-tear with sprain from your symptoms. One thing I'll ask you to do, Feel your tricep on the arm which is fine, and then touch the painful region, tell me if there's a difference in temperature or whether it feels 'feverish.'

I had a wrist injury 2 weeks ago, and it's still hurting. It takes ATLEAST 2-3 weeks to completely heal, so you'll have to wait.

I literally just strained my tricep 2 hours ago, I am icing it, and then putting heat and stretching it, pray to God and rest and hopefully it'll be gone by the next training session
