Some would be, but its so saturated now that you'd be real lucky to get a decent one
If you're nervous about joining the gym / trying new movements it's worth a go but never long term
Breaks my heart seeing dudes coming in for months and months with the same PT, continuing to pay them when all they really do is oversee their liftsI only know my own ideas of other peoples ideas.
My cut/transformation thread, any pointers welcome! : https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=176088631

The industry is saturated and it's tough to find one that is really good and actually professional. But once you do they can be quite valuable.
It also depends on your goals. For a middle aged housewife who literally needs someone standing over them to work out, then it's a good tool. For a dedicated athlete typically they will hire a coach instead and simply do their workouts on their own.
Most of my clients over the years are literally people who can afford to pay someone to do the thinking for them. Or want focused attention on a regular basis while they are performing complex movements. I can do my own taxes as well, I just don't bother because I'd rather pay someone else to do it.
