I know it's a long shot, but are there any standard barbells I should be looking to buy. I just have an abundance of standard plates and it doesn't make sense for me to shell out 4x on olympic plates + barbell versus going this route. Appreciate any input.

Based on a quick search, the Hampton Beefy Barbell is still available...but I can only find the 5' model. They used to offer it in an 80" version, so you may want to check with them to see if they have any old stock or keep an eye on the used market.
