I said nothing about ripple being better quality. To your point that would make ethereum obsolete to cardano, dot, etc.
I don't want anyone itt to mistake my bullishness on xrp for me believing XRP is a superior project. I give zero fuks about any and all these underlying projects. That's why I hate when dudes start talking schit on other projects. Like who gives a fuk if it's making money?
So when I speak to XRP having 7 billion more dollars in marketcap than Stellar, that's not me insinuating stellar is inferior. That's me insinuating there is substantially more Bank and Hedgefund money behind the project, ergo more investment and incentive for the project to succeed. Which makes me raise the question again... "why is there so much more whale money in xrp? what do they know that we don't"DCA'ing FXS since Sept2022

I think get what you are saying. I'm guessing the reason why there more speculative investment in Ripple over Stellar is that Ripple had better marketing, and the Ripple executives had better networking skills.
I'll never forget what Elizabeth Holmes did. She made Jordan Belfort look like sidewalk hustler. Good marketing beats everything when it comes to speculative investment it seems. If You Don't Like To Talk About Your Feelings, This Might Help...

Regarding Eth... 2.0 is being rolled out over the coming few years. Also Eth already has working and popular DAPPS already built on top of it. Quality working projects.
So although the other smart contract networks may be better tech wise, they don't have the amount quality working DAPPS on it.
XLM mogs XRP when it comes to actual projects being built on it.If You Don't Like To Talk About Your Feelings, This Might Help...

In my opinion. This is an opportunity for an all but guaranteed 100% return on anyone with the balls to accumulate over the next 2 months. I'd be willing to bet the outcome of this lawsuit is that the SEC does find something that was "grey area" or not done properly, they slap them with a fine but they're able to return to business. Until that verdict comes out, XRP will bounce around 20 cents, maybe even dip into the teens, but when that news comes out it would almost instantly be back to trading at 40 cents if not higher. That's my guess anyway.

We're not talking about a Jordan Belfort here. The IMF has a whole section about Ripple. Thats the big boy table.

Presentation by Sagar SARBHAI, Ripple ... - International Monetary Fund
Look, I feel bad for people who's lost their shirts on XRP recently, but fact of the matter is cryptos had always been speculative gambles from the start. I was on MISC since 2007-2008 when Bitcoin was first mention and thankfully I bought some... However, it was always a speculative investment and gamble that I was willing to lose.
All I'm saying is that there's more to Ripple and XRP behind the scenes that were not privy too. The SEC also had fairly damaging accusations to Elon Musk and Tesla still shot to the moon.Life isn't about the destination, it's about the journey! Live life brahs

Pretty much sums up my point of view on this. I don't think anyone's trying to scam the average shtcoiner but they want to get in on the cheap. Notice big name exchanges are halting/delisting, I'd argue the flip side that the reason they're doing this is because they've got career banksters sitting in their offices and all in on this together. And, Grayscale continues to buy XRP.
Spoiler!

Nah just saying that people here are over reacting a bit. I know XRP us hated on quite a bit, but do you really think the US will let this crypto fail? This lawsuit was much needed.
Look at Ripples roster. You'd be a fool to think that these people all don't golf with each other. Jay Clayton probably goes to Brad's dinner partiesLife isn't about the destination, it's about the journey! Live life brahs

This is too simple and naive. Stellar reddits/discords/forums shill the exact same "wUt iF wuRLd CurreNCy!? ImaGIN gainZ!" larp. There's no way XRP larpers just so happen to have 7billion more dollars collectively.
But that's all i'm gonna say on the subject before people start to think I give a fuk if XRP really does succeed or not. I just can't help but shine a spotlight on the brazenly suspicious amount of money tied up in it still after losing over half its value.
Edit: That moment when you realize Bitcoin's current marketcap is over half a TRILLION dollars, and currently larger than Visa. Damn Daniel...Last edited by W1LLW; 12-30-2020 at 11:28 AM.

Ripple is a traditional fintech corporation with a well connected and experienced c-suite, sales and marketing teams. The value of XRP is speculation based on Ripple's "partnerships" using their traditional fintech software. As of now no heavy hitters want to use XRP. Another reason a lot of people chit on Ripple isn't just the project itself but how absolutely retarded the XRP online community is. They're the full retard version of bitcoin maximalists. The annoyance generated from their presence is enough to make a lot of people want to see XRP go away.

Hex update, because I don't feel comfortable not putting it out there...
Yep, I've seen it confirmed by multiple people who have looked into it - even by supporters - that the origin address (Richard) is indeed restaking the HEX sent to it.
How the origin address works is that written into the smart contract if a person withdraws their stake, before the time that they inputted when they first staked, then they get a penalty meaning a percentage of their HEX is take away from them. It's taken away, and then 50% is distributed to people staking and 50% is sent to the 'origin address'. And in turn Richard is restaking the HEX.
Make of that what you will.If You Don't Like To Talk About Your Feelings, This Might Help...

Damn, trading is hard. BTC finally breaks $29k level, hits $29,018 and immediately drops lol.
I often think I could be a profitable trader, I'd have a buy order just above $29k. But would've been caught.
This is why I don't trade.๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ถ, ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐๐๐๐

No way. Nowadays we have a new class of investors called โrobinhood investorsโ which were responsible for 2017 bubble and the current options bubble in the stock market, driving prices up through sheer retardation. Only difference now is theres cheaper coins on coinbase so ltc wont pump as hard.

WISE token.
Ethical alternative to HEX. Started by an earlier investor of HEX, that got disgusted by Richard enriching himself and recycling his HEX.
Sorry guys, I wanted to keep it under my hat so that I could snipe it for cheap at launch. It launched at 12:00 UTC.

Over 10 million in Eth is forever paired on UNISWAP from presale, because the keys are burned. It has an extremely high liquidity for a fresh token.
Benefits are that Wise is a ticket to ETH liquidity, plus (because of the burned Eth pairing) if the price of Eth is higher by the end of your staking period then so the WISE token, plus if you stake it you earn interest.
Code has been audited.
Wise is a staking token, that acts like a CD or Bond.If You Don't Like To Talk About Your Feelings, This Might Help...
