There are still plenty of jobs if you’re even semi qualified or semi skilled right now. There’s even a bunch of retail places still hiring in my area if you’re an “oppressed” minimum wage worker.

I think people are misreading the OP. It's 400/month or 100/week, much smaller compared to the bs going on with 600/week or 2400/month.

I took unemployment/stimulus and ran with it as long as possible. I made it 5 months. Then found a job making a little more than while not working. Paid bills and bought new stuff, sat at home, worked out and spent time with the family. It was truly a win win for me.

Full time worker making $15 an hour and lets say 2k a month gets furloughed and is now making $600 a week from unemployment and an extra $600 from employer. That’s $4800 a month and more than doubling what they were making actually working. Of course they’re not going to want to go back to that $15 an hour. Clown world.
