I just started the made in abyss manga. Didn't realize how quick I could blow through these. Already finished vol 1 and 2. Have 3,4,5,6,7 I picked up off ebay for $30 coming tomorrow. Im caught up on the anime, but the question im wondering is if I should keep reading past the anime? I bought the manga because I wanted some of the extra lore thats skipped in the show. This is my first time reading manga and the anime is probably up there in my top 3 of world building, art, music, va etc so im not sure if skipping ahead would ruin the show for me or just make it better when the show finally picks back up.

As far as our MAL page, it's well abandoned. Pretty sure we only really used it due to our threads getting shutdown (LOL at the old day shenanigans), so it was a place to meet up until we got the thread unbanned.
I haven't seen Bleachway post in awhile. It shows his last post on here as 09-17-2020......so yeah. I don't think he's coming back. His MAL still shows a recent login and updated as of Oct 3, 2023 though. So idk.
I have no problem starting a new thread when needed. Just not sure of how or who to contact if it needs approval beforehand or what. Plus we seemed to make a new one around post 8000, lol.
It would take a bit for me to make a new collage, as I'm no graphic designer. It's not hard but I mean, who posts here enough nowadays besides me to have a proper sized one again?
I'm hopeful we can keep the threads going, but unless people start posting regularly again or we get new long-term members, it might be tough.

My girlfriend started watching Magus Bride on a recommendation from her (female) friend.
She really liked the first two eps, and wanted to watch it with me, so we started from the beginning.
I think it's passable. Seen worse. Animation is of course great, being Wiz.
As for my girlfriend, after 5 episodes she's kinda done with it. Feels too girly for her.Into- Mountaineering, running & Djent/Progressive music.
Anti- Lack of accountability. Censorship, fat acceptance, & current wave feminism. That's why I left the UK.
