F-Type R/SVR is notorious for popping. F-Type S also to a lesser extent.

I think its just that the ZF8 shifts are so fast, it gives it that pop impression

It's in the programming. I don't know if anyone has ever ridden in the new M5, which has the ZF8, or the M340, it is so violet when it shifts.
The mopars that use the ZF8 also has that same violence but it's different when in a RWD car. It's hard to explain.
ZF 8 speed is the best auto right now.
