In the Marvel universe when Thanos used the infinity gauntlet to wipe out half of humanity maybe he had the right idea? Looking around and seeing the $hit going on with no apparent end in sight it doesn't seem like he would be a villain now days.

It might play out in Minneapolis. Maybe not with the snap of the fingers, but a slow painful reduction in human lives as first responders go find jobs at McDonalds.
