I don't know about "fluke" but he will be inconsistent because they have an RBBC there, especially after Henderson is fully healthy and they have a 3 man rotation. Whether he's worth the #1 claim depends on the size & format of your league, scarcity of waiver RBs, and your own RB depth.

Very concerned Jason Garrett is going to be a big negative to Saquan's production. Hoping the Steeler's front 7 is just that good........

This week RB2: play Hunt Thurs or wait on Snell Sunday? Obviously, Hunt is splitting touches with Chubb. Hunt got more this week, but Chubb was decent in what he did play and the split was mostly game script dependent as Cleveland was getting BTFO'd early. It shouldn't be that bad this week vs Cincy, so Chubb should be more involved. If I knew NOW that Conner is out, I'd pull the trigger on Snell, but as far as I know, he's just questionable at this point.

Pitt's front 7 is really good, and they were 100% selling out to stop Barkley (they had two players spying Barkley - Dupree at the line and Williams at the second level...), although there's no reason to think other teams won't do that, too, until Jones shows he can beat you consistently.

That's good to know. Steelers benefit from having a great secondary and coverage LBs that allows them to dedicate spys to Barkley. Don't think a lot of other defenses have that kind of luxury.

Gotta admit - Steelers D looked formidable last night and Ben looked very sharp considering it's been a year since he played + no preseason. Obviously early, but they could be a real threat come post season.

Well what I thought would be me going 1-4 this week turned into 4-1. Decent start to the year. I posted in here a week or 2 back about Gesicki. I ended up going with my gut on that and dropped him to pick up Jonnu Smith. At this point in time that was the right move and it saved me from a loss last night for sure. Take my Greens though I had that in the bag until Fant started going off, luckily Henry volume rushed his way to a mediocre stat line and saved me.

Ben was rusty in the first half (at least the first quarter and a half) and then he was on the sidelines with his elbow wrapped and Mason was throwing and I thought, oh chit, tank for Trevor time, but then he took it off and went back in and led that last drive of the first half, and that kind of got him in rhythm. Claypool's first catch was sick and gave me a little chub (looked like prime AB toe tapping along the sidelines). Although, for fantasy, it does look like Claypool, Ebron, and Washington are just going to cancel each other out.

I think I've got too much Tyler Boyd stock this year boys. I've got him in 3/4 leagues and I'm thinking about putting him on the block and trying to sell high before AJ Green eats into more of his target share.

tbf i thought green was done and boyd would be a great pick. still very possible. green has missed so much time the last couple years and the second that happens boyd is a huge get. one would assume burrow can only get better as we go along. nice matchup this week too.

Prob gotta go with Hines > Snell due to Mack for certain being out ROS. Conner's status seems more of a question mark.

Yeah as well as his QB being check down Rivers. I'm not really hurting at RB in any league because I went RB heavy. I know JT is a beast but that backfield has a Gordon/Ekeler feel to it now.

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if JT is eased into 3rd down work since that's where most rookies struggle.

I don't think that will cut it. He's going to have a consistent role the rest of the season in PPR formats. Easy flex play weekly.

Ya there's going to be PPR leagues with people spending 30-40%+ easy. I bet almost every active league will have 4+ people bidding over $15.

Worth dropping Mattison or Herndon to go after Kelley? Neither of those backs would be handcuffs so strictly from best players available standpoint. PPR

Kill me, my season is already off to a great start.

    M. Thomas and Connor already hurt, and ingram taking a hit from dobbins earlier than I expected.

Time to plug in good ole Crowder and hope for the best

It most likely wasn't as clear cut when you drafted they were tied for 2nd role. Jacksons injury helped Kelley out a lot though

I would say no, although possibly Herndon if you're thin at RB because you really shouldn't need a backup TE, but on a player for player basis, I think Herndon is better.

Kinda thin but might not need to start more than 2 at any point and Kamara is covered. Think I'm going to put a smallish bid on Kelley dropping Herndon if it goes through.

Cooks or Boyd ROS standard? Both were dropped and I think I’m gonna put in a waiver for both not sure who to make first priority. Current WRs are Brown, Parker, Lamb, Edelman, and Jefferson.

I probably would have just passed on that just because Hunter Henry is a TE who you often do need a quality backup for, LOL.

For me, it's Boyd easy. Not a fan of Cooks at all. Who are you going to drop, though? None of your current WRs are really guys I'd want to drop, either.

Van Jefferson for sure. Assuming it's Justin Jefferson, I think there is higher upside for later in the year considering it's just a bench spot for now, but yeah, it's close between them, so I can understand that.

Justin Jefferson if I drop a WR. My RBs are CEH, Carson, Ingram, White, Lindsay, and Robinson. I could drop Lindsay (waiting to see how severe his injury is) or White if I don’t want to drop Jefferson.
