This was exactly the intent of the astroturfing RW groups that seeded the riots. They were losing the national argument and needed a riot to mitigate their losses.

Whats convenient though is that if someone comes to my small business with the intent of causing harm or looting, the law says I can shoot them. I can also stand guard with a firearm.
