I'm gonna need to do a cutting phase this winter, so i need a way of doing HIIT indoors. What do you guys recommend? Treadmills seem too expensive. How about a stairstepper?

I can't sprint outdoors in the winter - the sidewalks are really icy. I used to go jogging next winter and it took all my concentration to not trip and break something. Sprinting would be deadly.
