Am I the only one who thinks this stuff is pretty damn bad? I just recently became an avid user of Controlled Labs products (I've been using White Blood + Green Magnitude for a while) and recently acquired Purple Wraath. I decided to give it a try ten minutes ago and I couldn't finish half the mixture. Are all EAA/BCAA supplements like this? Wow, I wish CL could do their magic like they did with Green Magnitude and make this stuff taste like actual grapes. I mixed it with water and noticed all sorts of bubbles, foam and crap floating at the top of my glass. Coupled with this distinct chemical-like smell, I couldn't finish it. Now, before everyone jumps the gun and tells me to man up and chug it down, realize that I've taken all sorts of disgusting supplements before. This just sets a new level of awfulness.
Anyone have tips? Can I mix this supplement with orange juice perhaps? Does setting this mixture in the fridge for 30 minutes actually work?
p.s. Green Magnitude and White Blood totally kick ass, so CL shouldn't take this as an insult!

yea i have trouble drinkin PW too, i would first add alot of water to water it down and then let it sit there and stir it for like 10 min and msot of the stuff disolves, maybe try mixing it with grape juice.

i put it in for like 10-15 mins and its all disolved and tastes fine. its a little wierd at first, but once you figure out to take it when its been FULLY disolved and start drinking it regularly, you actually learn to like it. its not all that bad manOriginally Posted by mmx

Try some Crystal Light. They recently reflavored it so you may have the "old" one.

2.) I enjoyed mixing my PW into yogurt. I quite enjoyed the taste of it when mixed with FF yogurt.
3.) Throw a scoop into your mouth and immediately chase it with water.
Also, it is worth checking with Controlled Labs. They recently "upgraded" the flavor - you may have a batch of the old version. If you provide Pu with the lot number, I'm sure he can help you out there.Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.

My personal opinion is that it tastes like nasty ass baby-powder that has a grape hint to it...it was bad. GM sample was good. I would of loved to get some of that...too bad I cant afford it.

Mix it with Body Octane.
Purple Wraath will never, ever taste good. The old formula was horrible, but the updated flavoring is tolerable. If the main thing you want is an EAA supplement that taste good then try Nitro G, but as far as servings go, PW is a much better price.

I just tried a sample packet of it today ... not sure if it was the new or old formula, but I didn't think the taste was bad at all.

seriously, i must be the only person who ENJOYS the taste of purple wraath. i LIKE to use more water so its not as sweet, so for one scoop ill add almost 15 oz of water and still retains its grape flavor - i look forward to drinking this everyday.
to be honest, if i had to choose i liked the old version better, it wasnt as sweet. but either way , i love this stuff.
