I listened to that as well. I think the major issue we are currently dealing with is that that media isn't spending any time with those that have the virus and those that have recovered. The "if it bleeds it leads" mentality is causing too many people to go into mass hysteria at this point and we arent seeing the other side of the coin. We are seeing and reading what they want us to.
My other issue is, if the deaths are mostly to those with underlying issues, what's to say that had the common cold or the flu hit them they wouldn't have died as well? This happens everyday throughout the world, but the media doesn't report on it cause it's not 'leading' news. Now throw in Cornavirus and they die and it's immediately on the news for 24 hours straight 7 days a week...UNLV Rebels *** Seattle University LAW *** Seattle Seahawks Crew ***

Really really good article.
https://www.wsj.com/articles/coronav...66316?mod=e2fb
Marc Thibault was groggy and surrounded by beeping machines, but he was alert enough to know what it meant when he looked up and saw a priest, wearing protective gear, by his bedside at the Miriam Hospital in Rhode Island.
“Holy cow,” he thought to himself. “I’m 48 years old and I’m getting my last rites.”
Mr. Thibault, one of the first Americans diagnosed with the novel coronavirus, recounted days of pain and fear in his first interview Tuesday, speaking from the intensive-care unit at the Providence hospital where he has been for 13 days, fighting the illness that attacked his lungs. “I was one inch from death,” he said, his voice weary. “No doubt about it. No doubt about it.”
A self-described germaphobe, Mr. Thibault isn’t sure exactly how he became infected. He said he used hand sanitizer constantly on the trip. But the group’s local tour guide said he felt like he was coming down with the flu, and he and Mr. Thibault passed a microphone back and forth to talk to the students. Mr. Thibault is unsure if the tour guide ever tested positive.
He said he told the clinic he had been to Italy and wondered aloud if he could have the novel coronavirus. He was told he didn’t fit the criteria at the time for the test because he didn’t really have the symptoms, which can include a fever or shortness of breath.
He stayed home from work, but just got worse, with growing fatigue, a dry cough and something that resembled bronchitis. He went to a hospital but was again told he didn’t meet the criteria for the test, he said.

This is very similar to the story about Patient 1 in Italy, a 38-year-old who only began breathing on his own again Monday after over two weeks in ICU.
In the time it took him to get well enough to be moved to a regular hospital bed, his entire country has been locked done because people in his situation have taken over nearly every available ICU bed that could be cobbled together in the region.
"You won't die" is not the same as "this is mild".Nah, fukk that. I’m not doing that.

I hoped he would level with us that this is serious and not put the stock market and economy over the truth. I think the MSM is going crazy like they always do trying to politicize this, and I don't agree with that. He has basically been in the "just the flu" camp. This was the wrong message. Anyways this isn't about trump, I just wanted to point out that its not just the MSM and TDS calling him out, there are right leaning folks who wanted a leader here and got Daytrader Donnie instead.
Does anyone have a good cliff or source of what South Korea is doing differently? Is it just culture and hygiene? We need to be emulating them.We are all gunna make it

You cannot see why they would not report true numbers? Really? The same reason most of South East Asia is talking out their ass. To not make daddy China look bad. Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos, Singapore, Taiwan, China and most likely Korea are all not to be believed
Add in Iran for their own purposes

We're definitely in for a ride then.
From what I've seen with this most recent flu season, while most young people will mount a normal immune response to fight the infection, some people will have a immune system that's so strong that it actually overreacts and creates a cytokine storm. To make a long story short, in an effort to fight of the infection, the overly robust immune response creates a lot of collateral damage --> multiorgan failure.
I wonder if that's happening in more frequency to the younger Italian population. I'd have to go through whatever data is out there to see.أشهد أن لا إله إلاَّ الله و أشهد أن محمد رسول الله

On the contrary a travel ban was imposed pretty early despite massive pressure from tourism and universities. Both are some of the biggest factors in the NZ economy. We had 5 cases pop up in a 10 day period, in the week following only 1 case seems to have cropped up despite one *******s best attempt at spreading the virus.
Would I have been more extreme? Yes.
Does the current method seem to be working though? Also yes.

This just points to the fact that it's wide spread already. The thing is most people are just sick and will never get tested so a true number will never be known. We may never know the true impact or the actual reach of the virus. If keep only testing those that are really sick then our death rate compared to actual cases will remain high compared to placed like SK

Keeps showing earlier and earlier the more we learn about it. This virus was definitely here much earlier than anyone anticipated and docs probably chalked everything up to a normal flu or cold at the time. For all we know a majority of people previously sick may have already recovered without even knowing it.UNLV Rebels *** Seattle University LAW *** Seattle Seahawks Crew ***

Breakthroughs in the last 5 years in immunotherapy have led to many old people, who would have died even 5 years ago from cancer, to still be alive and kicking, albeit with a compromised immune system.
This virus has the potential to really do a number on the boomer population if it continues to spread unchecked.Early AM workout crew.
