...my attitude is the most important thing in need of major repair.
Self imposed limits are a bitch.
The hardest pill to swallow is that I did this to myself. I am a product of my own choices. #accountability #carry_you_own_water
Physical injuries. Emotional terrorism. Zero control. Utter lack of all-around self care: = one long as# climb out of the rabbit hole.
This journal is my way of building strength (in more ways than one), staying connected, and of course – free therapy.

23 Feb 2020
More about me:
I started seriously lifting and tracking macros again in December 2019. I wanted to make sure I committed to myself before I committed to logging. My track record for that has been dismal at best. Training routine is currently 3-4 days per week, hard and heavy as usual. Minimal cardio (because cardio is the devil) and 6 days lower calorie with 1 re-feed day. Moderate everything macros wise. Daily calorie intake ~1500 and ~1800 on re-feed days.
Goals: Stop complaining
End date: Never

Today's session was great! My gym membership expires on Feb 27, and I don't plan to renew. They bumped the corporate membership fees by $100 per year. No. Thank. You. I'm investing in my home (basement dungeon) gym instead. I have new DBs, a new heavy duty stool/shoulder press bench and a new chin-up bar coming. Can't wait …

My new weights and other goodies arrived today. Looking at a pretty solid home gym setup now. I can't wait to unbox everything and get it all set up. If the chin up bar does NOT fall off the wall, I'll consider that a win! ha

If I was really motivated I'd purchase an entire new full squat rack/cage … but … that's quite the commitment lmao.
What did you get? I'll head on over to your log and check it out!

I can barely move!!! It was nice to be able to share that experience with her. We're still a relatively 'new' merged family, and for me, I bonded!
I finished up with some DB curls and shoulder work (with my new DBs of course) just for funziez..

Funny you say that. After a hard/heavy leg day I'm always up 1-2lbs easy. No matter what I eat or don't eat. Facinating.

Hit legs tonight. Was a good session but realized shortly into my first warm-up that my back was not having it. I improvised with 6 sets of squats (just the bar), so light DB stiff leg deadlifts, a ton of sets for calfs and then did some extra bicep and shoulder work. Looking forward to my re-feed tomorrow = lots and lots of cereal Happy weekend all!
