I know about all the benefits of creatine. I just have one question, if nutrition is in order can you maintain 10-13% body fat on creatine? I know it can lead to water retention, and am curious to know if it's possible to remain at such a low body fat percentage.
Also if it is possible to stay between the range, would I gain water weight first and have to gain more muscle to retain the goal %?
Thank you in advance.

Thank you brothers. Was really on edge because I can't seem to find a post, or article about anyone retaining abs on creatine. Everyone says it makes them look puffy and that is not the look I'm going for right now.
Would like to stay fairly lean as we start heading into the warm months.Last edited by DreamChasinJ; 02-01-2020 at 07:52 AM.

find a competitive weightlifter, bodybuilder, crossfit trainer... the majority take supplemental creatine and have abs. the whole "creatine bloats me" in the majority is bull people are looking to blame something for them being soft. looks like you are on the right track, keep going

Answer to your question is yes you can. I pretty much just take creatine everyday and I was pretty lean in the summer.. Nothing crazy and my physique isn't that impressive. I mostly just do powerlifting type training.

Creatine doesn't make you fat, nor does it increase water in subcutaneous tissue to make you look "flat" as many claim. It causes your muscle cells to take on more water, making the cells larger. That's a good thing for most people.
