I abandoned barbell curls due to wrist and elbow pain, I now only do dumbbell or machine for curls and donโ€™t have pain.

    I would agree^^^.
Dumbbell curls would be the way to go.
You could try wrist wraps and see how those feel.
If you still have pain you may need to lay off and or see a medical professional doctor, chiropractor or physical therapist for you issue.

Happens to a lot of people. Try doing higher rep hammer curls 2-3x per week. This has worked quite well for a lot of guys that have trained with me. Also โ€œThorโ€™s hammerโ€ supination and pronation exercises.

"please advise". I hate that line. Anyways, maybe try wrist straps if your not seeing discomfort in elbows or anywhere else.

Take it easy on your joints, slow controlled reps or build your biceps with compound movements

Generally on isolation, I use tools that function unilaterally like kettlebells, dumbbells, single cable handles, etc. Curling is no different for me - i've found that zottman, drag, and spider or preacher curls function most effectively after my compounds on a bicep day. The straight bar doesn't work too well for me on curls, ez-curl i'm okay with though - it depends on the angle of the bar. I've used it for curls, extensions, rows, presses, never felt any pains from it. I consider the curl bar one of the best investments I ever made haha.

Barbell bicep curls destroy my wrists. Iโ€™ve since turned away from them and use an EZ bar/dumbells and have no pain

This. Definitely hammer curls. Never bother me, even when going heavy
