The year has officially started. Time to record where your weight is and set some goals for the year. Post your Jan 1, 2020 weight here and add any general goals and/or accomplishments you are proud of.
For me, I am starting at 202.0 lbs (will be easy to remember) and 23% BF
This year I want to get back down to a "normal" BMI and 183 lbs. For my current fitness level, this is about 15% BF. Then I want to go beyond that and drop 8-10 pounds so that I can bulk back to that weight, rinse and repeat (adjusting the amount cut each time). I am not looking to get swole, but it would be nice to not get the "you lost too much weight" comment at some point. I would like to be around 180 and a perceived 12% BF. I don't care about actual body fat numbers as much as the visual fitness level that 12% looks like. I might have to cycle a couple times to get there, but I should be able to get closer this year.
Looking forward to reading everyone's posts. Have a great new year and let's get this done!

I'm starting the New Year weighing in at 160.4 lbs.
I'm most proud of the fact that in 2019 I lost 60 lbs and went from being obese to being overweight.
This year I need to lose 23.4 lbs to go from being overweight to being a normal weight and I intend to do just that.
On a side note, we use reusable bags at 3 stores, but they are bulky so we don't take them into places like W~M. I recently purchased some light weight bags that fold down into a nice compact size. I can fit 3 in my purse and I don't have a huge purse. I intend to reduce the number of plastic bags we use this year. That and losing weight were my only New Year's resolutions!01/02/2019 Starting weight: 221.5 lbs
11/01/2019 Weight: 161.4 lbs. Lost 60.1 lbs
03/06/2020 Weight: 151.2 lbs. Lost 70.3 lbs
Goal Weight: 136.5 lbs

I am currently at 172.6 pounds and want to get to 160 this year. I started my fitness journey back in June weighing 192 pounds just working out in my friends garage 3-5 days a week. I found this site in September and that’s when I started going to the gym 5 days a week. And at the end of October I started weighing and counting everything I ate and ate at a deficit of 500 from
November until now I’ve lost 10 pounds. Good luck everyone I hope you all hit your fitness goals

New years day, which was a Wednesday, I was 228.8lbs and showing 30.4% bf on my handheld BIA. A recent DEXA showed me at 23%. So, who knows what the exact number is.
I started a cut on Oct 11 at something like 241.2 and 32.7%
On Dec 16 I was 228.8 and i went into a 2 week diet break/deload. I relaxed my eating quite a bit and ended up gaining a whopping 4 ounces
Goals...though some of these might be 2 yr goals lol.
1. Get below 15% and start heading down towards 10. I havent been anywhere near 15% in over 30 years. Ill probably need to be down to like 181 to see anything close to 10%
2. 17" calves. currently around 15.75 (rt) 16 (l). Yes I understand this is working against goal #1 but it is what it is. Genetics be damned
3. 315 x 10 hi bar squats. Coming off many years out of the gym i been back about 6 months. Worked back up to 275x10 low bar but decided to switch to hi bar. only up to 255x7, 235x10 so a ways to go there.
4. 18" arms. again, working against #1. right now am around 17 to 17.5 but thats fatceps so this might be a 2yr goal and technically its probably "beyond my genetic ceiling" which is why i want to do it lol"Humility comes before honor"

251 lbs at ~23% BF and 6'2"
I aim to get down around 15% at about 225 by summer. Gained lots of muscle and strength this year and body composition actually improved during the bulk. Not concerned with getting especially lean but visibly I am slightly fat and getting rid of that is the agenda. Arms are 18" but only have a little bit of separation, my pecs are developed but are about equal to my belly in prominence, etc. It will be great keeping this much muscle after leaning up some.Bench: 350
Squat: 405
Deadlift: 505

215 lbs, sitting at 19%bf. This last year although I did lose over 10% body fat which is over 20 pounds the big success was adding over 14 pounds of lean muscle.
So now it’s time to get down to 12% this year. I was there a few years ago and really like the way I felt and looked. So that’s my goal for the year to get down to 12%, I need to lose approximately 15 pounds more of that and think I can easily get there by the end of June. Maybe sooner
