Nah, I had high hopes, enjoyed the first ep but for a non Witcher game/book player/reader the show is just too hard to follow. Without Cavill it would be intolerable. I struggled to even finish the last ep, it sucked.

The dragons were gay as fck
The women actors are awful (seeing them naked doesn't make them good)
Story line is too hard to follow with all the different time lines
Dialogue is cringe

You can't even compare this to game of thrones, not even remotely in the same league.

Some straight retards in this thread if you can't follow the story. A show like Westworld would absolutely obliterate your minds if you think this is a hard show to follow. There is a whopping 3 whole storylines to follow and if you aren't a low IQ absolute donkey retard, you'd know the show takes place over 12+ years.

And if you think this show is girl power, then you're levels of insecurity are beyond high, like holy Christ. There is absolutely no "girl power" in this show at all you incel cucks.

Just finished it. Was pretty good from a non witcher book reader/game player. The Renfri actress from the first episode shyts on the Yennifer girl in terms of looks tho. Not sure what's with the hype around her.

The multiple timelines had me lost as fuk in the first 3-4 episodes. Once I figured out that Yenns timeline starts many years before Geralt, who is a few years before Ciri, and its all leading up to them meeting in the same time, then it made more sense.

Not near the level as GoT's first 4 seasons but very good nonetheless

I like all the characters, a tad disappointed with Triss, was hoping for a fiery redhead like in Witcher 3.

Show would’ve been 10/10 if it were just Geralt and Jaskier 80% of the time. They were the best part of the show. But this show was bogged down by the females. I liked Yennefer, especially when she was learning about magic, she had most of her strongest character moments then but once she left Hogwarts I only liked her when she was with Geralt. Episode 8 was trash because of the huge focus on her and the mages and lol at Fringilla and Triss being black now. Ciri’s plotline was even worse and was never good or interesting. The jungle elves made me want to pass away. And why isn’t anyone talking about the Nilfgaardians’ armor design? Wtf were they thinking

All in all, The Witcher is a 6.5/10 to me. Episodes 1-3 and 5 are the only ones worth rewatching.

Even in the first episode the tactics were bad. Brb charging your calvary into 10,000 soldiers from 20 yards away instead of using them to flank. Brb no battle lines or formations just an all out mindless brawl. Brb btw, where’s our backup?
