The belief that any group outside of yours has life on easy mode is a loser mentality. It's reminiscent of the grass is greener on the other side fallacy. It's such a defeatist attitude to go through life with. I've been guilty of it. Feeling sorry for myself. But that doesn't fix anything. To think that someone achieved X because they were Y is easy because it gives you a pass for falling short of your own vision.

What happens if you think your own group has it easier?
There's definitely Outliers, but even ugly women have it easier than men.
Only thing we have that sucks is popping kids out, but we don't have to deal with loneliness like some men do.
To put it into perspective, I have a mental illness, but I was able to get a husband and kids probably only because of my looks. I get almost any job I interview for. Men don't have that luxury. They work harder to get to where they are.
I was told I have some sort of repressed misogyny or whatever, but I'm just telling it like it is. Women don't have it harder by any means.BrosefMengele is my #1 fan.

Counter-argument. I think men and women have it easier in different aspects of life.
I think men have it easier achieving long term goals and have more opportunity to have a more fulfilling exciting life.
Women have it easier in day to day life. An attractive women can literally get by on just being attractive. Someone will scoop her up and take care of her.*Updated* If you can't hit a 320 yard drive, are you even a man?

That's pure cope and you know it. There was a time when my family was so poor that I had to use broken bricks and matchstick boxes as toy cars. Nowadays, I have all the free time in the world and it's great. Still not as wealthy as I'd like to be, but would much rather have this than how things used to be.

Summary: men have it easier in their predisposed roles. women have it easier in their predisposed roles. A female reporter wanting to become an outspoken hot take personality has a higher mountain to climb. A male journalist with no athletic experience likewise has a higher mountain to climb to become a sideline reporter at games.

Just read your entire post and you're probably right. The first line caught my eye and that was that. Are you referring to people who don't put in any effort and then talk about how easy life is for other people? Because if that's the case, then yes, the ones who tried to make their life better, had to work their butts off to achieve it.
