    30 years old. 250 bucks.

Had almost 80k by the time I was 24. Life is rough for some. Statistic is likely true.

How much do you guys make?
    Some serious savings being made.

Considering the people I see everyday living pay cheque to pay cheque, wasting their money on new phones and drinking / eating out every week, I find it hard to believe.

Maybe your just all American and the cost of living is much lower?

I live in UK in one of the top cities, own a 4 bed townhouse and rent out 2 rooms which fully pays the mortgage.

My fiancé and I pay all the bills and living costs of us both.

We have just under a £300k mortgage but have about £130-150k in equity.

Have about £14k in savings mostly in tax efficient stocks and shares account.

We have 0 debt apart from our mortgage and are both 29/30. (Not including my student debt).

Home ownership for people our age is noted as incredibly hard and our generation are dubbed generation rent, hence we have a big foot up owning already.

Not sure how some of you are having so much ££ left over every month.

I’ve only been in my professional job for about 2 years after graduating mind.

Age - more than you can afford pal.

Savings (I have one other savings account in another bank which has about half of this amount):

If you have student loans and a mortgage then you’re in debt.
But you’re in a good position and doing well so far, keep grinding

62.5k is what I gross. After taxes it's about $50,580. Rents from my tenant total another $6,540 per year bringing the total to $57,120. Less the $36,000 for investments that leaves me with $21,120 or $1,760 per month to live off of.
