Squats, Deadlifts, and running only (legs)

Bodybuilding proportions aside I am wondering if it is viable to train legs with nothing but squats, deadlifts, and running without developing muscle imbalances or other occupational problems?

My interest are strictly strength and function

Squats and deads are all you need for legs. Arguably you also need a few sets of leg curls to work the semimembranosus across the knee.

    Yes

But some occasional calf raises and toe raises (aka "reverse calf raise") wouldn't a bad idea as some extras
