Personally Id probably go for some sort of egg white powder. I know certain customization sites exist for this purpose, but not gonna name drop them on here. You could probably find it with a google search

I know Gaspari just came out with an egg protein (Proven Egg). I haven't tried it, but have heard good things about it. Does have stevia, don't know if that is a disqualifier.

For your wife - consider NOW Pea Protein (unflavored). Only one ingredient, no artificial flavoring, 1g carb per serving, GMO-free, and since it's based on peas it is naturally gluten free.

It's nothing special; just a way to get whole foods conveniently

honestly, it can be a problem. Obviously for lactose just go isolate, and otherwise taste is a subjective measure. If she hasnt been diagnosed with a true gluten allergy (IgE specific test, not an OTC test) that could be problematic.

Education goes a long way. It's shown in literally all psychology studies by acquiescing to these types of requests you justify falsehoods in these peoples minds. You essentially perpetuate the dillusion. It may seem like you are doing her a favor, but in the end you arent, you are contributing to disordered eating.

I see it all the time in my patients and clients. It takes a lot of effort to reverse years of poor relationships with food such as these. I am making sure she didnt take one of those BS at home/from the pharmacy tests.

Why are the 97 different types/flavors of pre-workout? Why have 119 different types of BCAA? 73 different types of fish oil? 39 different styles/types of proteins in 136 different flavors?

I expect to see Controlled Labs slim their product line down to 1 flavor of each product because nobody needs to have so many options.
