Curious about what happens now that the NRA is collapsing.
Will I stop getting asked if I want to win a truck?
Will I stop getting asked if I can buy Wayne LaPierre's Vest?
Will the NRA be more legislatively active? More active in the courts?Florida Crew as of 3/21
What part of "Shall Not Be Infringed" are you having trouble with?

If only. I hear mail order brides make guys lives a living h*ll too. Not sure how some of you guys put up with it, I can't deal with dumb sloots so until I find a smart chick that isn't a sloot, I'm staying single.
Buying this house definitely is. It's not the nicest house in the world but it's a nice house, spacious for a 2 bed 2 bath. At the moment, it will be just me. I walked to the back of the property and it will need some cleaning up in the half acre of woods, but it could be a nice place to set up a little camping spot for my nephews. They're still a bit young yet to take camping, being only 7 and 3. The livestock barn needs a little TLC, but over all it doesn't seem to be in bad condition. Will need to put in a floor or something before the rain washes the soil floor away. The pond is decent sized but will need to be cleaned up as it's overgrown with vegetation. Has plenty of oak trees on the property so there is plenty of shade to help keep cooling costs down. There is a lot of perks with this property so I hope I can get it. Spent the evening working on a layout for what I'd do if I get it. I think it will work.

I have mixed feelings about the mess going on with the NRA. They need to restructure and pull their heads out of their azzes. They still have the potential to get back in line, but they need a severe change in direction. It makes you wonder how screwed we'd be without them or if other orgs like GOA, SAF etc can pick up the load.

This. Hate them or love them, they’re probably one of, if not the most, important variable as to why we haven’t lost even more ground on the 2A (I don’t want to say we would have lost it entirely). They’ve given up plenty of ground themselves, but losing the NRA would be like losing the UAW for workers, or the VFW if you’re a veteran. They’re the most powerful group on the block, and losing them would not help us at all, and would empower the antis beyond belief. Getting rid of the NRA has always been a huge goal of theirs. They didn’t even have to do it. The NRA did it to themselves, helped by a lot of gun owners too, but long term if the NRA dies, we will feel it.
(I haven’t paid attention specifically to what’s happening at the NRA.)Everything depends upon execution; having just a vision is no solution.
Performance and performance alone dictates the predator in any food chain.

Mirin. Got my daughter out a couple of weekends ago for her first big ride. She went 20 miles, which I was impressed with for a 9 yo. Local trail goes around the "city" and throughout much of it follows a river, so lots of it is pretty scenic. She fairly regularly rides 5 or so miles with us, but this was a big step up for her.

That's a pretty macho ride for a 9 year old . . . well done!
Biking may end up being my daughter's newfound exercise outlet for cardio. She's been working out a lot in the basement with some weights I bought her and she's pretty fit looking. But she's had it in her mind that she wants to run . . . and her knees don't like the running. We had a long chat about it and I just gave her the speech about running not being for everyone and if your body tells you not to do it--then listen to your body and find something else that can take its place that works better for you. So the bike may be it. She's also been riding my Airdyne, but she seemed to really like being out in the fresh air with all the trees and stuff to look at (can't blame her--that's much more scenic than the basement).*MFC Elder Statesmen Cabinet Crew*

I got heavily in to cycling for a brief period. Road cycling. I was out crushing Strava, started racing and doing really well. Problem was I was putting a lot of hours in every week and just wasn’t sustainable. I’m 100% or nothing when it comes to hobbies. I don’t like to half ass things. So I just quit. Put 40lbs on and wish I kept with it.

Who shoots 300 AAC subs? What bullet/powders are you using? Accurate 1680 with some heavy 30 cal bullets seems to be the favorite online but looking for some secret recipes here.

Everyone hold the fuk up...so when someone says to visualize something or "picture this", those aren't just silly expressions and you're actually constructing a mental image that you can actually see?
