I have around $600 left in the budget for the build, so a $400 scope won't hurt me but a $1200 scope will.
Maybe, I haven't know anyone who has owned a newer Hi Point and the few people I knew who owned one back in the day regretted it.
The one that will p*ss off the liberal sheep the most.

You're the lowest member of the food chain and you'll probably be replaced by the rat.

on the subject of AR15s, its important to know exactly what youre getting and what to look for. cant go wrong with a chrome lined chromoly vanadium barrel. rifling twist rate is important too, 1:9 is good for 55 grain bullets, 1:8 for 62 grain, 1:7 for the heavier bullets. 8620 steel for a carrier and 158 carpenters tool steel for bolt is ideal.
honestly, ive never known anyone who owned a hi point either. but there are alot of videos online of people torture testing them and they seem to work. i simply cant get over how ugly they are though. much rather spend a little more any buy a firearm that not only works but also looks good.
one of the ugliest pistols ive ever seen. i suppose if thats all i could afford id run it, but i can afford better.Last edited by 4ea; 06-22-2019 at 08:54 AM.

More than likely, I'll be returning to work in the next two weeks. So if I want to get any range time in for the next few months, I will want to do that before I get back to work. When I return, I'll be working everyday for the next few months to recoup the money that I missed out on while on workers comp and to get my savings back up to where they would have been if I wasn't on workers comp. I figured I would go ahead and build the rifle now to give me something to do while I'm just sitting around the house all day.
Got the Romeo5 on my AR15.
This
Agreed, I also don't see how they could be comfortable to handle looking at their design. I could be wrong though. But I don't imagine them being to comfortable.
