See my post, #31, from a couple of days ago. Very happy with the chest pad.

FullCircle padding isn't bad at all, but IMHO they are not the greatest out there. I would rather contact Edge Fitness and get custom anti-slide padding, than mess with FullCircle again. They are decent quality but nowhere near as durable based on the pads I received for my Hammer bench.

Not sure if I want to be “that guy”, but bench padding is super easy to replace. Just take off the current padding, replace it with 2 or 3 layers of carpet padding, and your done. If the upholstery can be reused it shouldn’t cost you anything but an hour of your time (and a stop by the scrap bin at your local carped sellers). Free is always good.

Grubman did a great job with his pads. It appears that the pads on my hammer shoulder were replaced previously. They have pulled vinyl with very nice corners and they look good.
However, if you want great looking stitched pads then you have to break out your sewing machine or have someone make them for you. I can’t speak to a bench pad, for which I would be more particular, but I am pretty happy with the chest pad I just bought. Stitching and material look great. Bolts fit snuggly.I quote with pics. i just got an old magnum M85 bench for $25 and the only thing keeping me from using it as a primary bench is the pad width. I was looking at the seat/backpad combo from Edge. 12" would be perfect, but im worried about getting the holes drilled just right. "dude, you are the most handy man ever" said nobody in the history of my life. ughh...pad width is what doomed the 5435 and power lift benches for me. should have done the pad switch then.

I haven't ordered from FCP but I have exchanged emails with them a few times and they have really good communications. Helped me with finding proper bolt sizes and alignment.
I think FCP will do custom sizes. I asked them about getting a different hole spacing on my lumbar pad because the options on the site didn't match my equipment and they told me they could make one to my specification. You could see if they could make a wider pad.

I'm not a big fan of Full Circle's pads. They're ok, but not as good as original high-quality commercial pads. The vinyl was not as heavy & durable. The foam is a different type and different consistency. Also the profile was somewhat rounded on both the top and sides whereas the original was squared.

Yes, the Cybex 5435 with Edge padding is GOAT, hands down my favorite bench of ALL time. Firm, Rick uses thick 3/4" backing, and the material itself incredibly durable. At first I wasn't sure what to think about the 'grippy' pad, but it's quickly become a favorite of mine. Not much else to say, this bench is a permanent staple in my home gym.
